Montana Solar
MT Solar is our favorite pole mount. These are made to order, and they are far easier to install than any other brand we have seen. It can be worked on at waist level and then easily hoisted into place. Most of the components can be assembled at waist level before hoisting them up into their final position. The Team

Kienan Maxfield has been installing solar since 2011. He got his NABCEP certification and has gone on to teach solar at SEI (Solar Energy International), where he’s been privileged to meet many of the pioneers of modern off-grid solar. He owns and operates Maxfield Solar, an off-grid solar installation and consulting business. He is the head of technical consulting and technical sales. He’s your primary contact for new sales, and the mastermind behind Green-Go Solar.
Lydia Maxfield has been married to Kienan since early 2021, and has been learning about all aspects of solar since then. She has been helping Kienan on jobs and helping with bookwork. With a background in nursing, Lydia has a vital role in keeping the team well taken care of.
Kai Maxfield has lived off-grid since 2011. He has helped Kienan his brother on many jobs and has taken classes to improve his proficiency in off-grid solar. He helps with some of the less technical aspects of operating a business and keeping paperwork sorted out.
Rahab Maxfield has been married to Kai since late 2021. She is a fast learner and helps fill in the gaps. She is the newest in this field, but she has a background in engineering & accounting and has a great work ethic.
